C3 Church exists to provide an opportunity for people to connect with God and with other people.  We want the very best life possible and we feel like the best place to find that is through being connected to a community of faith that lifts the name of Jesus.

We like people, we like our city and our country…in fact we LOVE it.  We think its the greatest place on earth.  To stay static however would grind against our values…we want to move, shift, create, love, live and continually get better.  Our culture has some amazing pieces to it and thank God for the freedom to worship him as we desire.  HIS desire however would be to see HIS influence reach further and faster into the fabric of our communities and relationships, our canadian way of life needs HIS touch.  It could be that everything goes round by chance, but TRUTH says that theres only one way that it was all supposed to be…He always knows the perfect thing to say.

Together we are better then when we are not, and with HIM as our inspiration, life and source that together is so much better.  The corporate expression of worship is a high value for us, we love getting together and lifting up HIS name.  We love to celebrate and to share with others what God is doing in our lives, so much is gained through together. My name is Lucas Duxbury and I am the executive pastor of events and services at C3 Church in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.  I am passionate about communicating the gospel message through the creative arts, I feel like there is so much more we can say about HIM and expressing that creatively is the goal.  I love seeing something for the first time, and when it’s something about Jesus that I have never seen before it always brings me closer to HIM.    I strongly believes that the message and story of redemption needs to be told in a relevant way through song, dance, media, art and other creative streams.  Our communities don’t need another sermon or worship service…they need an experience with God, an experience in His presence.

Lucas is married to Rachel Duxbury and together they also lead the Worship Team at C3 Church and love every minute of it!!
