What does a Sunday look like for children at kidz conXion?
Based on our vision, mission, and values we can assure you that your child will be warmly welcomed by trained leaders.  Relationships – between children and adults – are a huge priority for us.  Whether it is through story time, games, or play, children will be invited into friendship with their peers and leaders.

***If your child is sick, please do not bring them to kidz conXion.

What will my children be learning in their classes?
Nursery: They’ll toss bouncy balls in the air to make rain for Noah’s Ark. They’ll clang building blocks together to make thunder – and learn how God calms a storm. They’ll hug & hold baby dolls – and hear about God’s great care for them! Each lesson uses objects from a toddler’s everyday world – plus play, fun, stories, and songs.

Preschool – Gradeschool: Tru
Tru is a sunday school curriculum that follows a large group small group model, exploring God’s word as the Big God Story.  We study stories for the Bible, listen and respond to God through acts of worship and creativity, and explore where children fit in the Big God Story too!  It is a fun, hands-on learning experience with great small group leaders and a firm foundation in biblical truth and the importance of the Gospel to each and everyone of us.

We believe that through this curriculum,we have the unique opportunity to equip church leaders and parents to invest in the lives of children and youth during their most formative years. This opportunity is also an enormous responsibility. We desire to shape both their minds and souls in a posture that will result in a life of worship (Romans 12:1–2). Such a life sees all aspects of existence as “spiritual” and begins to eliminate the line between sacred and secular. HomeFront Monthly is the family-connect resource Tru has created for the entire family. Each issue of HomeFront ties directly into the same environment currently featured in TruStory and TruWonder. This way, families are creating the same spiritual environments in the home that are being created in the church.

An awesome newsletter for parents filled with stories, inspiration,words of encouragement, and ideas to help your family engage your faith on a daily basis in an transformative way.  HomeFront provides opportunities for families to come together and experience storytelling, God’s Word, new family traditions, fun games and recipes, family blessings, prayer, and more. It is a great tool for any type of parent whether you are comfortable sharing your faith verbally, or struggle with knowing how to lead and guide your children towards Jesus.

Homefront Weekly – TruWonder (preschool – kindergarten) & TruStory (elementary)
Each week preschool through elementary kids receive a half sheet colored page to take home.  Before you toss it in the recycling, make it a habit to put it on your fridge or another place you will look at it throughout the week, because guess what – it’s for the parents!  That is right!  This take home is for you, so you can follow along with what your kids are learning, and the best part about it, is that you can actually share the bible stories your kids will be learning the upcoming week – before they even arrive!  This is  a unique tool for you [the parent] to be the first to instruct your children in the ways of the Lord (Eph. 6:4).  Find a special spot for it in your home so that reading Homefront can be a regular family rhythm for you.
