What are they? At this point in our church’s life, C3 Groups are Life Groups and Connect Groups, both with the key mandate of connect, care & community.

Life Groups

Doing Life together // A deeper level of relationship and connectivity

Group size- 10-12 ppl Small enough to ask  “How are you doing, really?”

Group Layout- Typically home group gatherings, preferably Tuesdays but doesn’t have to, aligns with the leader’s own group schedule…

Spiritual- Life groups have a lot of spiritual content (going deep when needed) . The motive of the group is “The Kingdom”: Loving each other, growing together, and learning to live like Jesus: “What is God doing in you and how can I help?”

Connect Groups

Relating together // An open social gathering of ppl with a common affinity that gather regularly

Group size – 3-30 people.

Group Layout- Anytime, anywhere, different forms: Coffee shops, restaurants, social venues…

Social, and/or Equipping- Connect groups may have a diverse content from spiritual atmosphere like Bible studies, a common affinity (i.e. fitness, snowboarding), to teachings on “Doing Your Best Life” tools, (they’re much more than just a social group). The motive of  the group is The Kingdom: Loving each other, connecting, and learning to live like Jesus: “Hi, my name is….so happy to meet you?”
