Introduction to Healing Prayer:
Thank you for being willing to come for ministry with our Prayer Ministry Team. We desire to provide you with personal and spiritual counselling services that will be effective in meeting your needs and promoting your well being.
At C3 Calgary, we believe that Jesus Christ still heals today. Two thousand years ago Jesus Christ stood up in the temple and declared.
The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
Because he has anointed me to
Preach good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
And recovery of sight for the blind,
To release the oppressed,
To proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor
Luke 4:18-19, Isaiah 61:1, 2 NIV
This is good news; Jesus desires to see all of us set free from whatever is keeping us from becoming all that He wants us to be. Our approach to ministry is heavily based on prayer and relying on the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We ask you to fill out an application explaining why you want ministry so that before you come for a ministry session we can already be praying for you. It also helps us pray about which team members would be best suited for your ministry. During you ministry time there will also be a small team of intercessors interceding for you outside the ministry room.
Most of our Prayer Ministry Team members have taken training through Ellel Canada. As a result of this training and our desire to see people set free, we have developed a team approach when ministering to people. Many of us have been personally blessed through this form of Ministry. Through our Ellel training and practical experience ministering to others we have learned the principals that we apply during our ministry sessions. Our focus during the ministry session is to get to the root cause of a problem. We are very committed to praying through the roots of an issue as opposed to merely praying about the symptoms of a problem. Our desire is to see you drawn closer to God.
Underlying our entire ministry is a cry to God for fresh revelation. We ask Him for a fresh revelation of His deep love for you. We also ask for a revelation of His destiny and purpose for your life. We believe strongly that each and every one of us has a God designed purpose for life. Our hope and prayer is that we can contribute in some way to you becoming more whole, walking out the calling of your own life and passing on the blessings that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit have given to you.
